Firstly, It doesn't take much time to download. The site is easy to navigate and to find the information that I want. It also provides links to other weather news headlines, articles, and video. It works well with both popular browsers, Internet Explorer and Netscape Communicator.
Secondly, this site is well designed. The text width is short and easy to read without using horizontal scrolling bar. There is a site map that classifies its content into different categories. The home page and other pages in the site share a number of characteristics such as background colors, which are light blue, white and gray; the placement of navigation information on the left hand side; and the logo that remain in the same place. It helps visitors to familiar to the site in a short period of time.
In addition, it is updated regularly throughout the day and it also allows you to customize your weather page. Overall, I think weather.com site is a good example of a well-designed web site. That's why it's my favorite site.
